A new character collection game based on The King of Fighters IP is coming.

Netmarble announced on the 22nd that The King of Fighters AFK will officially launch globally on September 4. The King of Fighters AFK is a character collection AFK mobile RPG developed by Netmarble Neo, based on the legendary fighting game IP, The King of Fighters, from SNK.

In The King of Fighters AFK, players can engage in various content using decks composed of at least 5 to a maximum of 15 fighters. Key features include strategic combat, collecting various fighters, competitive content, and a blend of retro-inspired graphics with modern artwork. The game was previously evaluated for its gameplay through a soft launch in Canada, Indonesia, and the Philippines starting last May.

Meanwhile, Netmarble is conducting pre-registrations for The King of Fighters AFK until the official launch. Pre-registration is currently available on the official game website and major app stores. Upon official launch, Netmarble will provide various rewards to all players, including ▲ 3,000 free draws ▲ the unique fighter 'Vice' ▲ and a guaranteed 'Legend' grade fighter on the first draw.
