A large-scale survival competition for The Starlight has been unveiled, where players fight until only one remains on an ever-changing battlefield.

On the 22nd, Com2uS released an introductory video for 'Isle of Glory,' a core piece of content for The Starlight, an MMORPG developed by GameTales and published by Com2uS.

Isle of Glory follows the battle royale format where the last person standing takes the crown. The reveal video offers a deep dive into actual gameplay, combat rules, and the rewards. Players can jump into a solo mode for up to 100 participants or a 3-player team mode featuring 99 players across 33 squads, with matchmaking spanning across all servers. Each match lasts 10 minutes, forcing players to constantly move toward the shrinking safe zone while engaging in intense combat.

Out on the field, defeating monsters or bosses provides buffs to attack and defense stats. Additionally, players can find the 'Goddess’s Blessing' statue to receive a shield and bolster their forces. Supply crates offer skill scrolls that can turn the tide of battle; using status-cleansing items at just the right moment is key to pulling off a comeback, allowing players to create various variables as they navigate the field.

The terrain itself is a tool; you can hide in reed fields for a surprise attack or seize the high ground for a tactical advantage. In team battles, the collision system allows players to block enemy paths and execute varied strategies, effectively recreating the tension of a small-scale siege.

To keep the competitive spirit alive, Isle of Glory employs an 'evaluation score.' If multiple survivors remain when the time limit expires, the winner is decided by tallying kills, assists, and damage dealt. For teams, the cumulative score determines the ranking. As the reward, 'Glory Tokens'—essential for high-tier items—are distributed based on your final standing, making aggressive play crucial.
