On the 26th, Blade & Soul Revolution opened the gates to its new 4-player dungeon, Baekcheong Ice Jade. The update also brings a fresh batch of Mythic-grade accessories and three new Mythic martial art badges. Following through on promises made in the August developer notes, the team has also rolled out four new Ancient guardian spirits, legendary internal energy updates, and significant quality-of-life improvements including class balance adjustments.

The new 4-player dungeon, Baekcheong Ice Jade, serves as the prison for the 'Ice Heaven Dragon'. After a millennium of slumber, the dragon's seal has begun to fail, leaking potent demonic energy. It is up to you, the players of Blade & Soul Revolution, to return and re-seal the beast. The dungeon is split into Legendary and Ancient difficulty tiers. You can access it via the dungeon manager, Han Gyeong-yu, in Raon Seongdo, provided you have already completed the 'Otherworld Act 6 Part 2, The Coming War' quest.

Once you venture deep into the Ice Jade heart, you will confront the final boss, the Ice Heaven Dragon. The encounter hinges on two primary mechanics: clearing the 'Frost Freeze' debuff and destroying 'Cold Jade Crystals'. The former requires you to rescue trapped party members and land joint attacks, while the latter forces you to dodge the boss's clones while simultaneously juggling buffs and smashing crystals. In short, it is a true test of four-player coordination.

The most coveted loot here is the Ancient-grade soul shield. Completing the 8-piece 'Shining Ice Heaven Dragon' set grants massive boosts to attack power offset, penetration, and accuracy. Furthermore, depending on your luck, you may drop essential growth items like the 'Martial God Mythic Blueprint Box' or the 'Legendary King's Book Box'.

If you find your current stats lacking for the Baekcheong Ice Jade grind, keep an eye on the new item additions. Mythic-grade belts and gloves have finally arrived. These belong to the existing 'Jinwol/Jucheon' set, and the upgrade path remains consistent with previous tiers, requiring 'Shining Ancient' equipment as materials.

Let us also take a look at the three new Mythic martial art badges: 'Jinin', 'Muap', and 'Swaeun', catering to attack, defense, and support respectively. These offer a 25% increase in enemy crowd control duration, a 12% reduction in total incoming player-versus-player damage, and a 5% movement speed boost upon landing an attack. The four new Ancient guardian spirits—'Erna’s Minion Ryuna', 'Regent Jess', 'Task Force Rika', and '7th Imperial Guard Thea'—have also joined the fray. Beyond their standard legendary abilities, they introduce 'Spirit Power Special Options', which can be further bolstered by increasing your bond levels.

Class balance adjustments have hit 16 classes in total, including the most recent addition, the Miho Swordsman. The team has tweaked casting speeds and damage output across the board, while also increasing the cooldown for the 'Back Roll' skill. Other granular changes include allowing the Swordsman to move while using 'Block' and expanding the effective range of the Vajra’s 'Pandemonium' skill.
