Nexon rolled out a fresh update for Blue Archive on the 26th, introducing two new characters themed around a baseball club.

Representing the Millennium Science School, Rei and Sumire (Part-time) make their debut. As the team's cleanup hitter, Rei acts as a Vibration-type dealer, unleashing massive damage within a circular radius upon using the EX skill. Sumire (Part-time) serves as a Piercing-type supporter, whose EX skill deals bonus damage to enemies suffering from the 'weakness detection' debuff.

The update also launches the event story, 'Pray-Ball! ~Aim for the Bases-Loaded Home Run~.' Players can dive into the narrative as Rei and Sumire (Part-time) work to resolve the crisis facing the 'Corgi Braves' baseball team and secure their maiden victory.

Clearing the event stories and quests rewards players with event points and special currencies like cheering balloons and sports drinks. These items can be traded in the event shop for growth materials, such as activity reports and equipment enhancement stones. Furthermore, completing high-difficulty challenge stages nets 50 Pyroxene per step, while finishing the EX stages grants 5 pieces of Secret Tech Sheet.

Meanwhile, Blue Archive is set to host the '2025 Sound Archive: The Orchestra Encore' at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park from September 27th to 28th.

The 2025 Sound Archive: The Orchestra nationwide tour, which kicked off last May, has already hit Seoul, Incheon, and Busan, with upcoming stops in Daegu and Gwangju. The Seoul encore will serve as the final act of this musical journey.

The encore performance promises new arrangements and special collaborative stages featuring instruments like the saxophone and daegeum. Tickets go on sale via NOL Ticket starting August 29th at 3 PM.
