One Store has officially crowned Superjoy's 'Hero Legion' as its Best Beta Game for July.

Hero Legion is an idle RPG that tasks you with assembling a squad of unique heroes to exploit elemental weaknesses. The game features charming 2D characters set within a fantasy world, focusing on turn-based combat that sidesteps finicky inputs in favour of strategic team composition and placement.

Superjoy was founded back in 2017, led by CEO Cho Han-kyung, who brings a wealth of experience from orchestrating several major gaming projects. The team at Superjoy boasts a solid track record in mobile development, including the casual simulation title 'Catopia', which hit 3 million global downloads, and the merge-idle RPG 'Raising Warriors'.

CEO Cho Han-kyung stated, "We received invaluable feedback on the early balance and systems of Hero Legion through the One Store Beta Game Zone." Cho Han-kyung added, "We intend to double down on idle elements and refine quality-of-life features to align with current trends before the official launch."

Meanwhile, One Store is spotlighting three indie titles in its August Indie Game Zone until the end of the month: 'Fight Aliens', 'Finger Gone: Dungeon Pang Pang', and 'Penguin Adventure: Frozen Defense'. Users who download these titles during the exhibition period will receive a reward worth 2,000 KRW.
