Champion Arena Top 64 Ranker Squad NIKKE Pick Rate

As the Champion Arena hits its 10th season, we have a new 100% pick rate NIKKE in the Burst 2 slot: Trina, affectionately nicknamed 'Scarlet’s treasured item'. While Scarlet has always held court at the summit, Trina had been lingering just one step behind. Now, five months in, the gap has closed entirely.

Meanwhile, the pick rate for Little Mermaid in the Burst 1 category has seen a slight dip. It is a shame, considering the rise to the top tier last season, but Red Hood has stepped in to fill the vacancy. We shall see if Little Mermaid can claw back the position next season.

Let’s dissect the squad of KASHA, who has now secured four victories in ten seasons. The ranker employs the Treasured Bay, Maiden: Ice Rose (hereafter referred to as 'Cl-Maiden'), and the original Maiden. Notably, KASHA also retained Emma in the Scarlet deck.

The final result was a clinical 5-0 sweep, with no more than two members falling in any single match. The MVPs of the final were Treasured Laplace, Emma, and Cl-Maiden. Laplace mopped up the remaining enemies even as Privaty and Maiden fell. Emma provided immense sustain through post-hit healing to keep the party alive, and Cl-Maiden sealed the deal alongside Red Hood, even after an enemy Burst took down some of the team.

Scarlet, having recovered the pick rate last season, has tumbled from the throne once again. It’s a bit like a game of Red Light, Green Light, with the pick rate oscillating constantly. Other NIKKEs seeing a decline include Little Mermaid in Burst 1, and Emilia, Laplace, and Drake in Burst 3. Emilia’s drop is particularly surprising given the performance potential in the arena. In their stead, Anis: Sparkling Summer and Soda: Twinkling Bunny have seen an uptick. Expect these minor fluctuations until the next major release.

Let’s examine the squad from Art, who finished 3rd this season. With the exception of Trina and Blanc, every NIKKE was kitted out with at least SR Collectibles at stage 15. Given the resource cost, this is a truly lavish setup.

The squad utilized a combination of Emilia, Scarlet, and Cinderella. Art swapped Rossana for Red Hood in the Scarlet deck to boost damage, while Cinderella focused on protection and recovery. Lumani handled the Burst 1 slot, with Little Mermaid repurposed as a stun specialist.

The Emilia deck was the only squad where everyone sported stage 15 SR Collectibles, showing a clear intent to keep Emilia protected at all costs. With Rapunzel’s revive, Noah’s invulnerability, and Noise’s taunt, it is a defensive fortress. Furthermore, using four Launcher-type NIKKEs plus Treasured Helm makes for blistering Burst generation, clearly aimed at beating the opponent to the punch. Word on the street—specifically via Lounge and BlaBla—is that 'Charge Speed' is the vital stat for Emilia.

Arena Meta Analysis

Investment in NIKKE Collectibles is mandatory

You should view the Collectible as the fifth piece of equipment for your NIKKE. While grinding to stage 15 is a chore, the performance output is significant. A stage 15 SR Collectible is comparable to a stage 5 Overload helmet. This stat boost applies not just to PvE but shifts the balance in the Arena, allowing players to stack high combat power and survivability simultaneously.

A word of advice: upgrade from R to SR grade. The success rate is much better, making it more cost-effective. You can even use stage 15 R-grade items for growth exchange into SR-grade. Keep in mind that once a Collectible is equipped, it cannot be removed, so proceed with caution. Always equip the R-grade first and upgrade gradually.

Aim for the Top 10% in Co-op Operations

The Co-op Operation, running every week or two, was originally just for collecting 'Broken Cores' to exchange for growth materials and up to 250 Gems. However, the recent revamp added 'Scrap Bones'—a new currency for Collectible materials and Manufacturer Gear boxes.

Consequently, the race for the 10% bracket has become fierce. Reaching 10% provides enough materials for two weeks’ worth of exchanges, which is a perfect gap-filler between content updates. Communities are currently buzzing with party recruitment, and players are already sharing optimal NIKKE compositions for the mode. We held a poll last week on Custom Module investment. The results show that the largest group of players has already burned through 50~100 modules. Considering you’re lucky to get 10 in a day, that is an staggering amount. 2nd place went to 10~30, and 3rd to 30~50. It seems the quest for the perfect Overload option is a brutal battle against RNG, and the players' desire for max stats remains insatiable.
