Gravity announced on the 1st that it has opened the registration page for the Korean qualifier for 'RAGNAROK STARS (ROS) 2025', a global esports tournament for its PC MMORPG 'Ragnarok Online'.

ROS 2025 is a stage where Ragnarok Online players from around the world gather to determine the strongest. The previous ROS 2024 grand finale was held at 'RAGNAROK FESTA', a Ragnarok esports festival in Thailand. The event drew over 10,000 local visitors and recorded more than 350,000 live broadcast viewers.

Applications for this year's Korean qualifier are open until the 29th, and teams can be composed of 5 to 7 members. To apply, log in to the ROS 2025 Korean qualifier registration page and enter details such as server, character name, and team name. A practice server was opened on the 29th, and the practice period runs until December 12th. Additionally, team introductions and the group draw will be held via a live broadcast on Gravity's official YouTube channel on October 13th, followed by the offline Korean qualifier on the 25th to determine the final teams advancing to the main event.

The winning team of the Korean qualifier will receive a spot in the 2025 RAGNAROK FESTA main event in Thailand, with all travel expenses fully covered. The top three teams will also receive 'ROS Korea Representative Boxes' and free in-game cash, as well as a copy of 'The Kafra Files' (Ragnarok World Book). The boxes contain special items such as limited-edition ROS costumes and premium buff boxes.

To celebrate the ROS 2025 tournament, Gravity is hosting an 'ROS Cheer Squad' event from October 25th to November 29th. Users who post reviews of the offline Korean qualifier or the online broadcast on social media or blogs, along with a link to their post, will be entered into a draw to win flight tickets and accommodation for the 2025 RAGNAROK FESTA (two winners). Further details on how to verify participation will be announced later. Additionally, there will be rewards for participating in the 'predict the winner' event.
