First, let us look at the speed-run rankings for the Tower of Chaos. The Assassin, Night Ranger, and Destroyer have established a formidable three-way dominance. The Top 5 is effectively an Assassin playground, while the 6th to 20th spots are split between the Night Ranger and the Destroyer. I have never seen the class diversity shrink quite like this before. Furthermore, the entry threshold for the Top 20 has tightened from 16 seconds down to 14 seconds—a metric that will surely define the high-level competition moving forward.

It is also clear that the class balance adjustments from July have significantly altered the environment. The Destroyer, which previously lingered in the lower rungs of many charts, has shattered the ceiling and expanded its influence throughout the Raven 2 Meca Ranking all through August. Seeing this class solidify its standing in the Tower of Chaos rankings is nothing short of a generational shift. It will be interesting to see if this momentum carries into Season 7.

I have also spotted some peculiar movement among the Assassins. While the class continues to break records and maintain a high number of rankers, the number of players clearing the 35th floor has seen a gentle decline throughout the season. The first count of Season 6 showed 46 players, the mid-season count hit 43, and this final tally sits at 42. This is likely due to the recent server transfer and character change ticket situation. With tickets sold on July 30th and August 27th, players must re-clear the Tower of Chaos after using these services for their results to be reflected in the rankings. It is highly probable that established rankers simply haven't re-challenged the content after transferring, so a rebound in the future is entirely possible.

However, a dip in the number of rankers does not imply a decline in Assassin's prowess. This season of Raven 2's Tower of Chaos saw the sub-10-second barrier on the 40th floor demolished, led by Assassin rankers 'ROYAL유혹', 'ROYAL꼴랑아빠', and '단단하냐'. The fastest times recorded were a blistering 9 seconds by ROYAL유혹 and ROYAL꼴랑아빠.

In the final tally, '신화꼰듀' also joined the sub-10-second club by hitting the 9-second mark, while ROYAL유혹 pushed the record even further to 8 seconds. It is classic behavior for the class that consistently holds the top records in Raven 2's Tower of Chaos. Meanwhile, the Night Ranger and Destroyer rankers who filled out the Top 20 have yet to crack the 10-second barrier. I am eager to see if those records drop further and how many more players will breach the 10-second wall in Season 7.

Tower of Chaos: Top 5 Rankings by Class

Shall we look at the Top 5 rankings for each class? The struggle to shave off those precious seconds is evident, as progress has been tough across the board. The Vanguard, Night Ranger, and Divine Caster all failed to break their personal bests. The Divine Caster, in particular, shows identical Top 5 clear times to the previous period. Improvements for the Vanguard and Night Ranger were also sluggish, moving the needle by only 1 to 3 seconds. Many users are clearly hitting a wall.

On the other hand, Raven 2’s magical dealers, the Elementalist and Deathbringer, have significantly reduced their clear times. The top-ranked Elementalist '악마맛쿠키' successfully dropped from 22 seconds to 16 seconds, and the rest of the pack is inching toward higher floors. However, with only six players having surpassed the 35th floor, the outlook remains somewhat cautious.

The future of the Deathbringer, however, looks promising. While the growth might be steady, both the number of rankers and their records show a distinct upward trajectory. In the final count, 27 players left their mark on the 35th floor. Furthermore, 7 players planted their flags on the 40th floor, with '단단포스' setting a new record of 25 seconds. This even surpassed the peak performance of the popular Divine Caster. As a newer class with such positive indicators, the prospects are bright.

Tower of Chaos: Ranker Class Distribution

Finally, let us look at the current class status of the rankers in the Tower of Chaos. Excluding the Night Ranger and Divine Caster, which consistently hit their maximum capacity, every other class has seen a slight increase in rankers. The most significant growth comes from the Deathbringer and Elementalist, each adding 21 players. This surge allowed the Deathbringer to leapfrog the Berserker and climb to 4th place. While the Elementalist remains steady, the gap between it and the rising Destroyer is slowly narrowing. I look forward to seeing the battle for dominance between these two in the coming season.

The Vanguard may have the fewest rankers, but the reality is quite different. A total of 50 rankers have cleared the 35th floor, and 32 have reached the 40th floor. Out of eight classes, this puts them in 3rd place for players above the 35th floor. It seems that while there is little influx of new rankers, the existing ones are packed with immense power—a classic case of quality over quantity.
