That iconic flaming head has arrived in Guardian Tales, bringing the unmistakable aesthetic of the masterpiece, Dead Cells, along for the ride.

On the 5th, Kakao Games rolled out the collaboration update between Guardian Tales and Dead Cells. Dead Cells is a rogue-lite action platformer that has managed to secure over 140,000 'Overwhelmingly Positive' reviews on Steam.

The collaboration, which chronicles the adventure of the 'Prisoner' revived by parasitic cells, will run until the 18th. Throughout this period, players can get their hands on a variety of Dead Cells-themed content, including limited sticker packs, costumes, and decor. The lineup includes three profile frames inspired by the Prisoner’s signature fiery look, as well as a 'Dead Cells Prisoner Beth' special costume for the hero 'Dark Magician Beth'. Additionally, exclusive costumes for the heroes 'Plague Doctor', 'Yun', and 'Knight' will be added, alongside new shared equipment skins.

Furthermore, the update introduces collaboration sticker packs featuring 'Mushroom Boy Little Princess' and 'Dead Cells Knight', plus a 'Fountain of Health' object for your Floating Castle. There is also a Lucky Roulette event where you can spin for a chance to win Dead Cells-themed frames, Summon Controllers, 'Dead Cells Queen Yun', 'Queen’s Rapier', and custom My Room backgrounds. Until the 18th, you can also participate in the Floating Castle Marble event, which rewards players with items like Summon Controllers and Awakening Stones for simply spending stamina in-game.
