After touring various international stages this year, Pearl Abyss is bringing Crimson Desert to Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025), marking the title's first-ever hands-on experience for Japanese gamers.

Pearl Abyss confirmed on the 8th that the studio will attend TGS 2025, which is scheduled to take place at Makuhari Messe in Japan from September 25 to 28. Crimson Desert has been on quite the world tour, starting with media demos in the Benelux region back in March, followed by events in London, TwitchCon Rotterdam, gamescom, GDC in North America, Summer Game Fest, PAX East/West, a showcase in Brazil, Bilibili World in China, and ChinaJoy.

This marks the first time Japanese players will get their hands on the game. Pearl Abyss has teamed up with partners including AMD, Razer, and BenQ to provide around 100 demo PCs on the show floor. Players can dive into the early and mid-game quests, starting with the intense battlefields of the open world. The developer promises a visceral experience, capturing the frantic tension of incoming artillery fire and the chaotic, smoke-and-flame-filled reality of the front lines.

Visitors can also explore the vast Pywel continent. The visual fidelity is striking, featuring natural lighting that shifts with the passage of time, dynamic weather effects, and an imposing landscape of mountains and crags. The studio showcases its prowess through its proprietary BlackSpace Engine, which pushes the high-quality, realistic visuals to their absolute limit.

Crimson Desert is currently in development for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
