Since everyone has been grinding through the same growth phase, we are looking at a neck-and-neck brawl. In such a balanced firefight, your personal stats will be the deciding factor. While gear upgrades and fine-tuning are vital, you absolutely cannot ignore the 'doping' factor. Vampir offers stat-boosting elements via serums, blood banquets, and blood stones. Let's break down these combat potion items so you can prep for the upcoming skirmish.

The basic combat trio: Attack, Defense, and Acceleration Serums

First up are the basic serums. There are three types—Attack, Defense, and Acceleration—each providing utility fitting their name. The Attack Serum grants +6 to attack power, bonus damage, and MP recovery. Once you hit the auto-hunting phase, your reliance on basic attacks increases. Shaving off even one hit per monster can drastically improve efficiency. However, if the Attack Serum does not reduce the number of hits required to down a monster, do not waste it. It is a small detail that saves you some gold.

The Defense Serum provides +12 damage resistance, +12 defense, +3 evasion, and +12 HP recovery. Since it only boosts defensive stats, it does not improve hunting speed, but it does reduce potion consumption and bolsters survivability in punishing areas. In spots where potion burn is high, the efficiency of a single Defense Serum far outweighs the cost of potions. If your lifesteal is enough to sustain you, leave the auto-use setting off.

The Acceleration Serum, however, is a must-have that should be active at all times. It grants a 10% boost to skill casting speed and a 20% increase to attack speed. Because it accelerates the pace of combat regardless of your raw attack power, the difference is palpable. It offers a tangible efficiency boost in any zone, regardless of difficulty. Even if you decide to be frugal with the Attack and Defense serums, keep the Acceleration Serum running.

The 'Refined Serum' trio: Stackable, but use with caution

The basic serums mentioned earlier can be purchased from any village merchant for 700 gold each—a negligible cost for constant uptime. The Refined Serums, however, are a different beast. These high-grade items are an advanced version of the basic combat potions. They offer superior effects and maintain the same 10-minute duration.

The kicker with Refined Serums is that they stack with basic serums. You can use both at the same time and enjoy the benefits of both. This means combining a Refined Acceleration Serum with a basic one results in a massive 20% skill casting speed boost and a staggering 40% attack speed increase. Considering the Hero-grade Blood Form offers a minimum of 50% attack speed, it is clear that a single dose of doping makes a world of difference.

The problem, however, is that obtaining them is notoriously difficult. Aside from specific step-up bundles or package purchases, the only way to find them is through the Archive. Neither source provides an infinite supply, and Archive rewards are not exactly on demand. Moreover, Archive rewards are limited to once per server. If you dump them all on your main character, you might find yourself struggling to level up your alts. Save these Refined Serums for when you really need them.

Naturally, their usage must be restricted. Stick to using them for tricky boss encounters in the main questline, or if you are a PvP enthusiast, save them for Gehenna. They are your trump card for seizing the initiative at critical moments.

Additionally, the Experience Serum, which provides a 10% bonus to EXP gain for 10 minutes, is also limited in supply. Despite its lower grade, it is just as hard to acquire as the Refined Serums. Use this wisely in areas where you can maximize your leveling potential.

Blood Banquet and Blood Stones: Manage your supply carefully

Blood Banquet and Blood Stones are combat consumables that offer a comprehensive stat boost. The former grants +6 attack and +12 defense, while the latter provides four specific stats depending on the type: Normal Monster, Boss Monster, or PvP. Blood Banquet is easy to hoard in the early stages of Vampir, as rewards are heavily tied to achievements and quests. Later on, you can consistently farm them in the field and Gehenna.

Blood Stones can be found in the Archive, but you can also purchase 30 of them weekly from the Diamond Shop. They come in selector boxes, so you can choose 'Conqueror (Boss)', 'Slayer (Normal)', or 'Predator (PvP)' based on the content you are running. Unlike the Refined Serums, these have a fixed supply, so plan your usage according to your routine. If you are eyeing the skirmish, perhaps it is time to start stockpiling now.
