The gaming culture festival 'GXG 2025 (Game culture X Generation 2025)', hosted by Seongnam City and organised by the Seongnam Industry Promotion Agency and the Game Culture Foundation, is set to feature performances on the main stage from the 19th to the 20th.

The 19th will feature the opening ceremony, followed by the finals of the 'GXG 2025 Game Music Competition: The 2nd GXG SOUND TRACK' (hereinafter referred to as GXG Soundtrack).

The pre-opening performance will see Lif, the grand prize-winning team from last year's GXG Soundtrack, revisit their winning tracks. Following this, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin will declare the official opening, accompanied by a celebratory performance from singer Ailee.

Once the ceremony concludes, the GXG Soundtrack final stage kicks off. Seven teams—▲ON:明 ▲Gambler(Jackpot!) ▲Boldagu Friends(Be fine!) ▲EZ DO BAND(Sync or Sink) ▲Burning(Just wait and watch, I will shine) ▲Band 203(UP!) ▲Space Headache Club(Hollow's Puppet)—will present a diverse array of original compositions spanning traditional Korean music, rock, and punk.

With a total prize pool of 22,000,000 KRW, the grand prize winner will walk away with 10,000,000 KRW. The results will be determined by a combination of professional judges' scores and live audience votes, with every attendee invited to cast their ballot.

The 20th will showcase a collaboration stage with Ilustar Fes and a gala concert. The Ilustar Fes collaboration stage features indie idol performances (▲REKIREM ▲Memoria ▲IDOL COLLECTION ▲H7KD ▲Lee Ho-te-u ▲Ugoffpe) alongside interactive cosplay shows.

The GXG Gala Concert begins at 6:30 PM, opening with a performance by Ensemble Heal, the Neople cello ensemble for musicians with disabilities. Subsequently, FLASIC, a production house specialising in subculture music, will present the 'FLASIC Choir', performing pieces such as 'Sogno di Volare' from Sid Meier’s Civilization VI and 'Baba Yetu' from Civilization V, among other game and classical arrangements. The final act will feature all seven GXG Soundtrack finalists returning to perform their original entries and game music repertoires.
