If you are a fan of the legendary horror manga master Junji Ito, then pay attention.

Softstar Entertainment officially launched the Steam page for 'Junji Ito Maniac: The Endless Prison' on the 17th. As a Taiwanese studio specializing in horror games, Softstar Entertainment previously made waves with 'The Bridge Curse'.

Junji Ito Maniac is a horror adventure game based on the iconic Junji Ito series. You step into the shoes of a university student who wakes up in a mysterious mansion with their memory wiped. Armed with only a broken mobile phone and scattered fragments of a forgotten past, the goal is to escape. Along the way, the student encounters a mysterious girl and a female detective, with the trio working together to solve puzzles and find the exit.

As you navigate the mansion, expect a gallery of grotesque phenomena, from floating human-headed balloons to black hair that stalks the halls. The developer has packed the experience with nods to the original source material, including headless statues in hot pursuit and Souichi's pet dragging in monstrous creatures. Judging by the screenshots on the Steam page, it is safe to assume that Tomie, the franchise's most iconic mascot, will also make a haunting appearance.

Junji Ito Maniac will officially support Korean, though a release date has yet to be announced.
