Goddess of Victory: NIKKE (hereinafter NIKKE) is shaking things up with a rather unconventional collaboration.

Level Infinite announced on the 19th that a crossover between NIKKE and Capcom's flagship survival horror IP, 'Resident Evil', will kick off on the 24th. It is quite the clash of genres, yet the publisher promises a fusion that respects the unique identity of both worlds. While it aims to expand the boundaries of the storytelling and visual flair expected in NIKKE, the collaboration promises to deliver an unprecedented level of immersion through its massive scale of content.

To coincide with the update's launch, the developer released videos and imagery showcasing the new characters, 'Ada Wong' and 'Claire Redfield'. The event, dubbed 'REBORN EVIL', follows a story involving the mysterious spread of the NEO virus.

The footage shows the Commander, the A.C.P.U. squad, and D crossing paths with Jill Valentine while investigating the ruins of an old church. It also teases a tense atmosphere as the characters face an unknown threat, featuring a glimpse of Poli being attacked by a mysterious hand and three women standing before an ominous red chapel.
