The September Meca Ranking for Raven 2 has been rather quiet for two consecutive weeks. Ever since the server transfers concluded on September 2, the landscape has solidified, with class popularity rankings and market share shifts slowing to a crawl. This week, we see a split in the narrative: while the overall class distribution remains stubbornly static, the server-specific popularity and the Global Region charts are starting to show signs of movement.

In the server-specific popularity department, we’ve seen a shift in the third-place spots for Nox-Morus and Mare-Morus. In the former, Deathbringer has usurped the Berserker, while in the latter, Vanguard has snatched the spot from the Assassin. Interestingly, the market share of these new third-place classes is identical to what their predecessors held. It is as if they simply absorbed the rankings and the share wholesale. 

Furthermore, with every class and server change season, we are seeing more servers where Night Ranger slips from the top spot. More servers have surrendered the throne to Divine Caster. In some cases, the gap has widened significantly, or the competition with the third-place class has become quite tight. While it remains a powerhouse, the impression is that rankers of other classes have been steadily closing the gap.

Overall Class Analysis

Unlike the server-specific rankings, the overall class sector remains frozen in place. A total of four classes saw fluctuations in their share, but the margin was a negligible 0.2 percentage points or less, and there were no changes in ranking. Once the hierarchy settles in, it seems to have no intention of budging. It feels like the right time for a shake-up via the release of a class change ticket.

As it happens, voices in the official Raven 2 community are growing louder, calling for just that. There is particular demand for the 'gold-based class change tickets' seen in the past. There was also an intriguing suggestion to 'shorten the release interval for class change tickets to allow for more diverse class experimentation.' If the developers were to adopt such ideas, it could make for a genuinely interesting shift.

Global Class Analysis

The Raven 2 Global Region is seeing slightly more active pie-sharing. Even if the shifts are minor, the market share is consistently moving. Unlike the Korean region, Berserker and Elementalist hold higher shares here than Destroyer and Vanguard. Among them, Elementalist’s position is somewhat precarious. Its share fluctuates up and down every week. As a result, the gap with the Destroyer one rank below has narrowed to 0.5 percentage points. At this rate, we might see the rankings flip sooner rather than later.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

In the early hours of September 15, the first season of the Raven 2 Guild Dungeon ranking came to an end. Consequently, a new season has kicked off, and the charts have been wiped clean. This season is expected to run until 4:59 AM on October 1.

In this first tally of the season, a total of 134 guilds were recorded. Of those, 40 succeeded in clearing Stage 4, while 8 managed to conquer the peak, Stage 5. The top spot goes to RoyalDanaKkeo from Lux-Metus, just as it was last week. Their record is 10 minutes and 18 seconds, slightly slower than last week’s 9 minutes and 38 seconds. On the other hand, JjimJjimJjimJjimIyaWanjeonJjimIya and Kingz managed to shave time off their records, reaching 2nd and 3rd in the season's first tally. 

Of course, it is far too early to rest on one’s laurels. It is still early in the season, and there is a high probability of other guilds pushing their way up. In fact, over 330 guilds were recorded in the previous season. Let us keep a close watch on how the charts evolve.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Last week’s Meca Ranking poll asked, 'If you could create a skill, what would it be?' The winner, by an overwhelming margin, was 'I want to use the Night Ranger’s legendary skill.' This technique changes the basic attack into a multi-target strike while simultaneously granting damage amplification and an attack speed buff. Thanks to this potent performance, any Night Ranger who has mastered this legendary skill is considered a force of nature in Raven 2. It seems many players are feeling a twinge of envy.

Finally, I shall announce this week’s poll topic. Today, we touched upon a few pieces of feedback registered by users on the official community.
