NEXON hosted an online showcase dubbed 'Big Campfire' on the 19th, pulling back the curtain on the inaugural season of the MMORPG 'Mabinogi Mobile', which is currently in development at their subsidiary, devCAT.

First up, the main quest 'Goddess Advent Chapter 3: Paladin' hits the servers on the 25th. The narrative focuses on the new region of Emain Macha, following the journeys of key figures like Ruairi, Lian, and Esras. Players can also look forward to testing their mettle against formidable bosses in the new hunting ground, 'Sena Plain', and the dungeons 'Peaca/Peron Grave'. If that isn't enough, 'Bari Abyss' is scheduled to open on October 2nd.

Once players complete the main quest, the new 'Paladin' transformation system becomes available. It is a powerful, one-time-use-per-battle transformation designed to significantly boost HP, attack, and defense stats. Furthermore, the character level cap is set to rise from 65 to 85.

The rune system is also receiving a substantial overhaul. With the new season, the developers are introducing new Legendary and Mythic runes, alongside features like 'Rune Memory' for flexible combination swapping and 'Rune Words' for added buffs. To ease the pain of RNG, players will now receive 'Unknown Runes' as consolation rewards when dismantling Legendary runes or failing an upgrade.

On top of that, the gem expansion introduces the Epic-tier 'Star Prism S', alongside new enchantments and an 'Enchant Amplification' feature that boosts existing effects and grants bonus stats.

October 16th marks the arrival of the 'Dark Mage', a new healer-type class. Armed with a ritual dagger, this class operates on a high-risk, high-reward combat mechanic where players drain their own HP to unleash potent abilities.

Beyond that, the roadmap is packed: a 'Pirate Barrel' mini-game for guild members arrives on September 25th, followed by a new raid 'Tabhartas' and 'Transcendence Imprinting' in November, with a 'My Home' housing system scheduled for the latter half of the year.
