While Platon and the mage contingent still hold the throne, off-meta picks like Colt, Sylvesta, and Juri are starting to stir things up. In particular, Sylvesta has received a buff-heavy remake and is steadily clawing their way into the mainstream. Let’s break down the post-update meta using the team composition charts.

The Rise of 'Sylvesta and Juri' Over 'Rin and Yeonhee'

It has been another week dominated by magic-type heroes. Platon, the spearhead of the current meta, secured the top spot by adding another 1% point to their lead, while Vanessa, Melcure, and Colt have all seen gains. All of these are staples of the current Platon-led magic deck.

On the other hand, the once-unstoppable duo of Yeonhee and Rin is on a downward trajectory. Yeonhee’s pick rate began to slip when Colt emerged, and this week, Rin joined the slide. While Rin managed to hold onto fifth place, their pick rate plummeted by a staggering 15.3% points. The culprit? Look no further than seventh place: Sylvesta, who surged by 20.3% points to make a long-awaited return to the charts.

Sylvesta’s skill rework comes in two parts. At 2-transcendence, 'Judgment of Justice' now gains 40% defense penetration, and the 6-transcendence passive effect allows the removal of all debuffs when 'Authority' is triggered. Many assumed this wouldn't shake the meta, but the stats prove otherwise.

Interestingly, the combined decline of Yeonhee and Rin is 21.6% points, which almost perfectly mirrors Sylvesta’s 20.3% point gain, suggesting a direct swap in team slots. Juri is also riding the wave, jumping another 4.3% points this week, firmly outpacing the other Old Seven Knights member, Phee.

Defense is King! 'Attack Formation & Lu' Solidify Their Lead

The 'Attack Formation,' effectively the tailor-made home for Platon, is on the rise. It added 4.5% points this week and is teetering on the edge of the 70% mark. It seems to be gaining 10% every fortnight. Consequently, both the Defensive and Balanced formations are seeing their graphs trend downwards.

Pets are following suit, with the gap between defensive and offensive utility widening. Lu, the premier defensive pet, has reclaimed the top spot, leaving Pike in the dust. With Sylvesta providing the firepower, players seem to be squeezing every last drop of survivability out of their formations and pets.

Focus Pick of the Week

Could the 'Orly Magic Deck' be the next big thing?

With the meta becoming stale since Platon’s release, I’ve prepared a special focus pick. Meet 'Cheonseo-ro,' currently ranked 16th on Server 3. While Orly is a known quantity in Total War, seeing the hero in the Arena was a curiosity. Cheonseo-ro runs a setup with Sylvesta, Vanessa, Yeonhee, and Melcure on the front line, supported by Orly from the rear.

It’s a tough choice among the many high-tier mages, but this setup works. Depending on the matchmaking or investment levels, one could swap in Rin or Juri. Since Melcure is locked in, the goal remains maintaining a triple-mage synergy.

Predicting the skill chain, Melcure’s 'Dark Seize' (Stun) or Yeonhee’s 'Eternal Slumber' (Sleep) likely opens the fight. Orly’s 'Light’s Reprimand' (Debuff removal) should follow to patch up the team, leaving room for Sylvesta to hammer home the damage.

The weakness? Aside from Sylvesta, the front line is made of glass. Orly’s support is vital here, and equipping the 4-set 'Coordinator' gear to ensure Orly doesn’t get CC’d early on is the cornerstone of this winning strategy.

Total War Pick of the Week

The Undisputed Leader of Round 10: 'Kkoma-Rudy'

The top-tier Total War meta is converging. Where players once experimented with minor variations, there is now a consensus on team compositions and pet distribution.

Kkoma-Rudy’s setup, currently leading Round 10, is the gold standard: Karma Defense, Platon Magic, Teo Offense, Kris Death, and Orly Magic. The strategic distribution of the three Old Seven Knights is particularly impressive.

While Rin and Yeonhee have lost their lustre in the Arena, they remain vital here. Even Rozie, absent from the Arena charts, is a core piece of the Death deck alongside Kris and Knox, with Nia providing support. Notably, Karin remains the only Rare-grade hero in the mix, acting as the team's primary healer.

Seven Knights Re:Verse User Poll

While it looks like a simple popularity contest, the logic holds: Kyle’s kit reduces damage from 2-5 targets, making the single-target powerhouse 'Shane' the likely primary dealer. This makes the strategy feel more intuitive to players. I, for one, am eager to see how the actual encounter unfolds.
