Smilegate updated its MMORPG, Lost Ark, with new seasonal combat content dubbed 'Paradise' on the 24th.

Accessible from item level 1,640, Paradise is a seasonal combat mode that runs for 16 weeks. To help adventurers push past their limits, the developer has introduced three distinct trials: 'Heaven', 'Proof', and 'Hell'. Within the confines of Paradise, standard growth systems are replaced by a dedicated progression model, ensuring every adventurer starts the season on a level playing field.

In the 'Heaven' trial, players must defeat swarms of enemies. Performance here earns 'Legacy of Paradise', a gear system exclusive to this mode that vanishes once the season concludes. These six distinct items scale in power based on their grade and quality, offering unique stats and effects.

'Proof' is a trial where players take down enemies in 1v1 duels against the clock. The game tracks weekly rankings, rewarding top performers with adventurer banners, titles, and keys to the Hell mode. Only the rewards from the final week are yours to keep permanently.

'Hell' is a 100-floor randomized dungeon descent. Using the keys earned from Paradise, players can dive in and progress through 1 to 20 floors at a time. The deeper you go—closer to the 100th floor—the better the rewards become.

Each season also offers 'Orbs', special gear that can be used outside of Paradise. Three types of Orbs are available per season, and they grow in power based on the maximum 'Paradise Power' recorded during the season. Depending on the type, these provide helpful combat effects, such as healing the party or dealing damage to enemies.

Alongside the Paradise update, a new collection quest, 'Nookman's Illusion Stone', has been added. By collecting 12 shards, players can experience the backstory of Nookman, the elder of 'Limlake', featuring tales of courage and hope.

To begin this journey, players must complete the 'News Delivered by the Illusion Bird' quest, followed by the 'Contains the Hopes of the Yoz' quest.

Each shard collected provides rewards, including exclusive cards, high-to-hero grade gem boxes, gem processing reset tickets, and various stronghold decorations.

Furthermore, from the 24th until November 5th, the 'Aldebaran Festival' event is underway. By playing 'Kurzan Front', 'Chaos Dungeons', and 'Guardian Raids', players can collect 'Aldebaran Coins' to exchange for items such as 'Relic Engraving Recipe Random Pouches', 'Legendary Card Packs', and gem processing reset tickets.
