Nexon announced on the 24th that it has opened a 'Classic' server for HIT2, the PC and mobile MMORPG developed by its subsidiary, Nexon Games.

The Classic server introduces a new currency acquisition system and gear crafting method. By using the 'Gem Farming Premium Charge Ticket' obtained from the season pass, players can use Gems acquired from hunting monsters without restrictions in the marketplace and shop. These can also be exchanged for a new currency, 'Tokens,' to purchase various items. Furthermore, a system has been introduced to increase performance at each gear enhancement level and allow players to obtain higher-tier equipment by utilizing existing gear.

At launch, the Classic server offers access to three regions—Isle of Waves, Teragard, and Tria—alongside two dungeons: Tower of Revelation and Hall of Dawn. Players can choose from six classes: Greatsword, Bow, Staff, Mace, Dual Swords, and Orb. In October, the first server-wide siege warfare will begin, and the Angelos and Grandir regions will open.

The Origin server also received several updates. First, the Orb class has been overhauled. A new skill, 'Brilliant Blessing,' has been added to provide more powerful buffs to allies. Support capabilities have been strengthened by increasing casting speed and removing the recovery cooldown. In the new 'Pet Exploration' content, players can dispatch pets to various regions to earn rewards, and the awakening stage has been expanded to level 3.

Nexon is running a 'Late Starter' registration event for the Classic server until October 21st. Those who sign up via the official website can receive 'Gem Farming Premium Charge Ticket' fragments, which can be exchanged for a 14-day Gem Farming Premium Charge Ticket. Participants will also receive 'HIT2 the Money' coins, giving them a chance to win a large amount of Gems.
