Amazing Seasun Games is turning up the heat on the 25th, rolling out a massive seasonal update for its 3D subculture shooter RPG, Snowbreak: Containment Zone, titled 'Refreshing Escape'.

This isn't just a minor patch; it is an expansion-sized update packed with new characters, fresh story chapters, combat modes, a new dormitory zone, AR interactive features, and a treasure trove of rewards.

The real headliners here are the two new 5-star characters designed to shake up your combat experience. Launching on the 25th, 'Fenny-Pureheart' arrives as a high-firepower dealer wielding a submachine gun, marking the game's first-ever specialist for aerial combat. Fenny-Pureheart can stay airborne to weave through shots, skills, and dodges, all while utilizing a unique mechanic where the Burst skill unlocks based on specific skill usage counts.

Then, from 16 October, players can get their hands on the flame-attribute support character 'Cheris-Priffin' for free. By utilizing a pistol and a skateboard, Cheris-Priffin zooms across the battlefield to deliver buffs, complete with an ultimate ability that shields the entire squad. These two characters aim to add a fresh layer of strategic depth through their distinct styles of mid-air maneuvers and skateboard-based action.

Naturally, there is a wardrobe overhaul as well. Four limited-edition swimsuit-themed skins are dropping: 'Fenny-Pureheart – Sweet Sunset', 'Cheris-Priffin – Pure Drift', 'Nerida-Messenger of the Underworld – Cool Wave', and 'Vidya-Cygnus – Sea Mirage'. Some of these come with special interactive scenes, and the skins for Nerida and Vidya even feature dedicated AR content, letting you blur the lines between reality and the game on your mobile device.

The gameplay loop is also expanding with a series of events. The titular limited-time event 'Refreshing Escape' pits you against a new boss, while the online naval battle mode 'Wave Journey', starting 20 October, introduces fleet formations and tactical cooperation—complete with hull upgrades, dynamic weather, and repair mini-games.

Furthermore, a hybrid PvE/PvP mode dubbed 'Let’s Go, Heimdall!' opens on the 28th. On 16 October, the 'Cheris-Priffin Recruitment' event will allow players to snag an SSR support and a skin for free. Additionally, a new prologue is being added to ensure fresh recruits can dive into the narrative smoothly, while veterans get a crack at re-earning rewards.

Life-sim elements have received a boost, too. Owners of the new swimsuit skins can explore the 'Breezeheart Bay' dormitory zone, where the characters show off their summer attire and participate in beach mini-games. By clearing the 'Frosty Toss' event, you can unlock interactive furniture like banana boats, hammocks, and sea-breeze swings, designed to deepen the bond between you and the characters.

To sweeten the deal, the developers are offering newcomers up to 120 pulls, three 5-star characters, and three skins. Through a 7-day login event, fresh players can also claim the SR character 'Yao', limited-time pull tickets, and a dedicated skin, alongside various other attendance bonuses.

The development team described the update as a comprehensive seasonal expansion that blends everything from cute, summer-themed characters and new combat systems to AR features, dormitory zones, and large-scale online modes, promising that both newcomers and long-time fans will find a new dimension of fun.
