On the 26th, LINE Games rolled out the 'Eastern Waves' update for the open-world MMORPG 'Uncharted Waters Origin', a joint effort between Motif and Koei Tecmo Games. Alongside this, they’ve also kicked off some seasonal festivities to mark the arrival of autumn and the approaching Chuseok holiday.

'Eastern Waves' is inspired by the grand voyage of the Ming dynasty explorer 'Zheng He' and runs until December 14th. Set primarily in the South China Sea near 'Quanzhou' and 'Macau', the update introduces exclusive trade items like 'Qilin', alongside new commodities involving textiles, fabrics, and livestock.

You can also dive into the new 'Grand Adventure' content. Every day during the season, you’ll receive a mail with specific coordinates; head there for some land exploration to snag 'Season Investment Certificates' and the 'Grade 25 Ship Construction Request' forms needed to build those fancy new vessels.

Speaking of ships, five new Grade 25 vessels have been added, including the 'Large Corvette', 'Soleil Royal', 'San Felipe', 'Da-bok-seon', and 'Jong'. To get your hands on these, you'll need the necessary ship materials like planks, masts, and gun ports, plus either the 'Grade 25 Ship Construction Request' or a 'Grade 24 Improved Ship'.

The 'Transcendence' system has also received a second round of improvements. Once you've finished the first stage of Transcendence, your Admirals and Navigators see their max level cap raised by 20, with another 20-level boost granted upon completing the second stage.

To celebrate the autumn season and Chuseok, various events are running until October 28th. By participating in attendance checks and production level easing events, you can pick up 'Old Box' items, which, when combined, yield goodies like 'S-Grade Common Contracts', 'Enhancement Protectors', and 'Tokens of Transcendence'.
