On the 1st, Com2uS unveiled a slew of content celebrating both the 2025 MLB Postseason and the game’s 9th anniversary. As the studio's flagship baseball title, 'MLB 9 Innings 25' leans heavily on its official MLB license, keeping rosters and data current across all 30 clubs. It is quite the spectacle, allowing you to field legendary icons alongside modern stars like Mike Trout and Ha-Seong Kim.

The update aims to capture the fever of the postseason while toasting to nine years in the business. First up, there is a postseason batting event running until the 31st. You can earn batting opportunities by clearing daily missions to snag various items, including the 'Premium Skill Change Ticket'. Naturally, there are tiered rewards for your participation, including 'Signature' players for those who put in the hours.

A 'Special Shop' has also swung its doors open to mark the postseason. Running until November 12, you will need to grind through league mode to collect event currency. This loot can be traded for hot-ticket items like the '2025 Postseason Emblem' and 'Skill Selection Change Ticket'.

The 9th-anniversary celebrations are equally packed. From the 9th of this month through November 9, you can curate your own '9th Anniversary Special Gift' package. You will choose one item from a selection of three across several stages to claim a total of four items. The list includes high-value assets like 'Special Signature Player' and 'Premium Skill Trainer Recruitment Ticket' to give your team a proper boost.

Then there is the '9th Anniversary Player Donation Event', where you can toss your special-type players into the pot and receive players donated by other users in return.
