Netmarble has added a new fighter, 'Mai Shiranui', to its mobile collection RPG, The King of Fighters AFK, developed by Netmarble Neo.

Mai Shiranui is known as the 'Alluring Kunoichi' (female ninja), who uses a large fan as a weapon to dazzle opponents with her flashy movements and captivating attire. Players can summon Mai through a pick-up event running until October 15, and a summon event for fighters with the 'Rage' synergy will also be held during the same period.

The beta version of 'Club Battle', a competitive content mode for clubs, is also launching. It operates on a four-week season cycle, and players can earn individual and club rewards based on match results. Honorary medals earned on the battlefield can be exchanged for various items.

A new 'Console' system is also being introduced, which triggers exclusive skills when certain conditions are met. Players can experience area-of-effect skills that can change the flow of battle. Additionally, the main stage has been expanded to 18,000, and growth dungeons such as Gold Rush, City of Rage, and Laboratory of Contradiction have been updated to assist with stage progression. The maximum level caps for growth content such as Influence, Supporters Center, and Pet Hotel have also been increased.

To celebrate the Chuseok holiday, a special attendance event titled 'Blessing of the Full Moon' is being held. During the event period, players can receive 'Secret Acorn Boxes'. Furthermore, by entering the correct answers to quizzes posted on the official forum and social media channels, players can earn up to 500,000 rubies. As part of the 'Happy Picnic' event, players can also encounter the legend-grade pet, 'Terius'.
