Arc System Works Asia officially released the digital version of the roguelike beat-'em-up 'Absolum' on the 9th. The game is available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and Steam, and pre-orders for the physical Korean edition (Nintendo Switch, PS5), which includes exclusive content, have begun.

Absolum is a new title from the team behind 'Streets of Rage 4' that blends fantasy with action. Players can enjoy a story spanning over 100,000 characters based on a roguelike, beat-'em-up combat system. This fusion of genres demands sharp reflexes and precise combo execution.

The game is set in 'Talam', a world on the brink of collapse due to a cataclysm. Amidst the tyranny and chaos of the Sun King Azura, the rebel mage 'Uchawi' has formed a resistance. The resistance aims to use forbidden magic to shatter the Sun King's power and thwart his ambitions.

The game features four characters: Galandra, Karl, Brom, and Cider. 'Galandra' uses a greatsword and necromancy for powerful melee combat. 'Karl' is a dwarven character who fights with a blunderbuss and his bare fists. 'Brom' is a mage who set out on an adventure to protect his people, and 'Cider' is a warrior chasing fragments of spirits.

Players can customize skills for each character and progress toward clearing the game. There are branching paths on the map, and the choice of route is up to the player. Enemies can be defeated through elemental combinations and chained attacks.

The Korean physical edition of 'Absolum' will be released on Thursday, November 6. Pre-orders are available through online and offline game stores until Tuesday, November 4. The physical edition includes the 'Absolum Digital Soundtrack and Digital Artbook Collection' as a bonus, allowing players to enjoy character art and the game's musical score.
