A demo for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, the first new entry in the series in ten years, has been released on Steam. The demo supports Korean, allowing players to enjoy the game without language barriers.

Hooded Horse, Ubisoft, and Unfrozen released the demo on the 10th. This title has drawn significant attention from fans as a new entry in the turn-based strategy series that was highly popular in Korea. Set on the continent of Jadame, the game aims to revive the series by adding new elements to its signature deep strategic gameplay.

The demo includes a tutorial to learn the ropes, as well as single-player content consisting of three modes: Classic, Single Hero, and Arena. Four factions are available: Temple (Humans), Necropolis (Undead, Vampires), Dungeon (Subterranean creatures, Dark Elves), and Schism (corrupted Elves and supernatural monstrosities). The full game will feature a total of six factions.

Early gameplay follows the series' traditional turn-based mechanics. Players use movement points provided each turn to explore the map, collect gold, and capture structures like observatories to strengthen their forces. Combat takes place on a hexagonal grid where players must move units, attack enemies, and secure high ground. Players can level up to gain stats, equip items and skills, and upgrade their home base to secure new units.

Along with the demo release, the developers announced that the Early Access launch has been postponed to 2026. They plan to conduct further testing and improve units and the UI based on user feedback.
