Pokémon Korea announced on the 14th that it will host the '2026 Pokémon Card Shop Tournament,' a competition where representative players from card shops across the country compete to determine the best shop. The '2026 Pokémon Card Shop Tournament' is a team battle league where representatives from each team visit Pokémon card shops nationwide to compete for the top spot.

The league will run from this November through May 2026, featuring nine Pokémon card shops from across the country. The league consists of a total of 14 rounds (8 rounds for Team A, 6 rounds for the Junior team). The top three teams in the league will advance to the postseason to determine the final winner.

The first-place team in the '2026 Pokémon Card Shop Tournament' league will receive a prize of 5,000,000 KRW, with 3,000,000 KRW for second place and 1,000,000 KRW for third place. Additionally, the postseason winning team will be awarded an opportunity to attend the 'Pokémon World Championships 2026,' scheduled to be held in San Francisco next year. Applications for the representative selection can be made through the official Pokémon Card Game website, and the tournament begins on the 18th.
