NetEase Games and its subsidiary Everstone Studio have announced that their upcoming wuxia RPG, Where Winds Meet, has surpassed 5 million global pre-registrations.

Set against the backdrop of China's Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, the game follows a young swordsman who must unravel the secrets of their identity amidst the chaos of history. Players can forge their own unique stories within this world of infinite possibilities.

Players can freely utilize a variety of weapons, including spears, swords, double-handed swords, glaives, umbrellas, and fans. The combat system incorporates the essence of Eastern martial arts, such as Tai Chi, pressure point strikes, lion's roar, and acupuncture. It also includes core RPG elements like gathering, crafting, and exploration.

The game also features an expansive open world steeped in history and culture. From peaceful rural villages to mysterious, ominous caves, treacherous gorges, and bustling cities, each location holds its own unique story. Players can freely explore this world and encounter the legends and secrets hidden throughout.

Where Winds Meet is scheduled to officially launch on PC and PS5 on November 15, with full support for the Korean language.
