Did you enjoy your Chuseok break? It is time for another Raven 2 Meca Ranking. Our focus today shifts to the region-wide class standings and the guild dungeon charts. The former has seen a significant shake-up in the hierarchy, while the latter is witnessing a fierce surge in competitiveness among the top-tier players, much like the closing stages of the Tower of Chaos season.

Conversely, the popularity rankings for classes per server remain quite stagnant. Ever since our two top dogs, Night Ranger and Divine Caster, secured the first and second spots across all servers, the scene has settled into a three-way battle for the remaining positions, usually involving melee classes and the Deathbringer.

However, this current silence feels like the calm before the storm. Raven 2 has three major updates in the pipeline. On October 25th, we see the launch of the new Guild Conquest content, followed by the introduction of the new ranged class, Gunslinger, in November. The former will likely shift class perceptions, while the latter will inevitably cause a migration of players through class change tickets. 

The real highlight, however, is the Raven 2 Guild Championship scheduled for December. While the first tournament took place in the Ancient Citadel, this iteration will be hosted within the Guild Conquest arena. For any competitive player or guild worth their salt, this is unmissable. Let us keep an eye on how the year-end heat intensifies.

Overall Class Analysis

The overall class category seems to have finished its reorganization. After a few weeks of tight competition between the 5th and 7th spots, the gaps have gradually widened. As of this week, the order has settled as 'Berserker - Vanguard - Destroyer'. 

The shifting fortunes of the Berserker and Destroyer are particularly noteworthy. The Berserker’s position has been buffeted by the arrival of the new Assassin and Deathbringer classes, alongside the steady climb of the Vanguard and Destroyer, causing it to slide from 3rd to 7th. While the Elementalist has been in a constant downward spiral, the Berserker’s trajectory is unique, having experienced both significant peaks and troughs. Interestingly, there is no change in its share this week, which is actually a good sign—it means it has finally found a stable home.

The Destroyer, meanwhile, had been climbing rapidly following the July balancing patch, but it has slipped back to the 4th image tier. It is a bit of a shame, but the situation is not as dire as it once was. The gap between it and the 8th-place Elementalist is twofold, and it sits just 0.3 percentage points behind the Vanguard. Depending on upcoming events, we might see it climb the charts once again. 

Global Class Analysis

In the Global region, the class rankings remain unchanged. The real tension lies between the 6th-place Destroyer and the 7th-place Elementalist. The rankings flipped just before the Chuseok break, but with the Destroyer’s share dipping by 0.1 percentage points and the Elementalist’s rising by 0.2, the gap is narrowing. We might see a reversal quite soon. Additionally, the Deathbringer has been quietly building a base by gathering 0.9 percentage points; it will be interesting to see if it can break through the 10% barrier.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

Moving on to the Raven 2 guild dungeon rankings. As of October 17th, we have about 16 days left in the current season, with the next season expected to kick off in early November. This means quite a bit of time has passed since the season began, which likely explains why the number of guilds clearing the 5th stage has increased. Currently, 15 guilds have successfully conquered the dungeon.

This count highlights the record-breaking spree among the top-tier guilds. The reigning champion, RoyalDanaeKkeo, has shaved 42 seconds off its time, hitting 9 minutes and 8 seconds. One wonders if they can break into the 8-minute mark. VeteranClub also cut 30 seconds to reach 11 minutes and 31 seconds. Most impressive, however, is the 3rd to 5th place bracket, where Kings, Destruction, and MythClub—none of whom were in the previous Raven 2 Meca Ranking TOP 20—have appeared like comets. AnimalCrossingPlayed also cut over a minute off its clear time, though the wall set by Kings remains a formidable hurdle to climb. 

Beyond that, the race for records and rankings is heating up. It is easy to spot guilds that have been pushed down the ladder by these new contenders. Former 4th-place RoyalMusinA and joint 5th-place RoyalMusin have both slipped to 8th and 9th, respectively. The same story is playing out in the lower brackets. Much like the Tower of Chaos, Raven 2 rankers seem to truly relish the pursuit of record-breaking glory.

Raven 2 Meca Ranking User Poll

Reflecting on the user poll results, I’ve had a moment of self-reflection. We polled on the progress of item collections, and to my surprise, a large number of users answered 'over 1,000'. Out of 83 total participants, 44 fit into this category. Another 20 users reported over 600, while 19 claimed over 800. The lower turnout compared to usual is likely due to the Chuseok holiday, but that is perfectly fine. Your enjoyment of the break is what matters most.
