The first official domestic main event for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is set to kick off on the 18th.

Cygames announced on the 17th that the main event for their official esports tournament, 'Shadowverse Korea Open 2025 Season 2' (hereinafter SKO 2025 Season 2), will commence on the 18th.

The main event opens with the Round of 8 Group A matches, followed by Group B on the 19th, and the semi-finals and finals on the 25th. You can catch the live broadcast of every match starting at 3 PM on the official Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond YouTube channel and the Cygames official Chzzk channel. All matches follow a Best-of-3 (BO3) format within a 4-player double-elimination group stage, with deck lists being made public the day before each match.

The winner of each group in the Round of 8 advances to the semi-final winner’s match, while the runner-up moves to the loser’s bracket. After a final qualifier match between the loser of the winner’s bracket and the winner of the loser’s bracket, the grand final will see the winner of the semi-final winner’s match clash with the victor of the qualifier. This season features newcomers like TRabbit, Gladio, Crita, J01, DNF ReRoll, cynia, Lucete, and Heumhani, all ready to showcase fresh strategies and distinct playstyles.

The champion of SKO 2025 Season 2 will walk away with a prize of 7 million KRW and a ticket to the Grand Finals held on November 22nd. The top two players from those Grand Finals will earn the right to compete in the 'Shadowverse World Grand Prix 2025' taking place in Japan.
