Just as the monthly rewards were settled, a massive variable shook up the leaderboard: the recent nerf to the Gunslinger's 'Falling Flower' skill. Given how many players flocked to the class recently, I expected a sharp decline, yet they’ve stubbornly held onto the top spot. Let’s dive into this week’s rankings, starting with the integrated dungeon charts.

'Yomanghanddalgi & GaOl', the Gunslinger duo, shatters the ceiling with an 18.490 record.

Last week's update saw the 'Falling Flower' skill—the bread and butter of the Gunslinger—take a massive damage hit. I fully expected this to tank the class’s dungeon times, but in a twist, the Gunslingers actually pushed the ceiling higher, outpacing the Force Masters. The heroes of the hour are the 'Yomanghanddalgi & GaOl' team, clocking in at an impressive 18.49 seconds. That’s more than a full second faster than the second-place Force Master team.

However, it’s unclear if this record was set post-patch. When we checked the logs on October 12, this team was sitting at 19.646 seconds, but the maintenance didn't hit until October 14. Since the adjustments were announced in advance, they might have squeezed in a final run before the nerf. If that’s the case, this record might stand as an unbreakable wall for quite some time.

Alternatively, we might see the Force Masters take the lead. Teams ranked 2nd through 6th are all currently running without Gunslingers, relying on Force Masters instead. The 'Kimjjigae & Kimchijjigae' team’s combination of Bard and Force Master is particularly eye-catching, proving that unique class compositions can still challenge for top spots.

Gunslingers hold the line for the second consecutive week

In the class distribution chart for the Ranking Dungeon, the Gunslinger has managed to stay on top for two weeks running. Despite the significant damage nerf in the latest update, they held firm at 17.1%. They kept the crown, but the dip in popularity was noticeable—a 6% drop that significantly tightened the gap with the runner-up.

Classes that escaped the nerf hammer kept their ratios steady. The Warlock and Force Master swapped places by a mere 0.2%, maintaining the current trend where ranged classes dominate the meta. As the Blade Master dropped out of the Top 10, the Celestial Master climbed up to share the 9th spot.

Just the 'Kung Fu Master' left to join the October Dungeon Race!

Mid-October is here, and the Top 3 class charts are filling up nicely. The Warlock, which had no records under 1 minute 30 seconds last week, has finally populated the board. Over in the Gyeonggukjisaek server, the user 'CoolpisZero' just managed to scrape in with a 1 minute 12 second run.

The Kung Fu Master, however, remains a ghost town. While there are a few die-hard mains out there, none seem to be gunning for the leaderboards right now. Other Kung Fu Masters who occasionally pop up seem to have vanished, likely taking advantage of the unlimited class change period to explore greener pastures.

The Gunslinger still boasts the best combined Top 3 records, thanks to that record-breaking run. But as I noted, that might be a pre-nerf relic. In other words, that time might just be the permanent ceiling for the class moving forward.
