Gravity has officially launched its new Metroidvania title, THE GOOD OLD DAYS: Nugi's Adventure, on Steam and Nintendo Switch this 23rd.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS: Nugi's Adventure (hereinafter THE GOOD OLD DAYS) is a Metroidvania that marries 2D pixel art with modern tech, focusing heavily on exploration. It is a clear homage to 1980s coming-of-age adventure films and classic gaming, aimed at tugging at the heartstrings of those who remember the era.

You step into the shoes of Sean, who is burdened with his father’s debt and tasked with clearing it before the clock runs out. To settle your dues, you will be engaging in boss battles, mini-games, lottery draws, and various event clearances. Clear the debt, and you have cleared the game.

As you traverse the world, you can rescue your kidnapped friends to join your cause, each bringing their own unique abilities to aid in your exploration. For those who enjoy a bit of replay value, the game offers new content unlocks and multiple endings in subsequent playthroughs.

THE GOOD OLD DAYS is available for purchase on Steam and the Nintendo Store. It supports Korean, English, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. To celebrate the launch, a 10% discount is available until November 6.
