KeSPA has announced the launch of the '2025 National Middle & High School Championship' on the 24th, officially opening the call for students to represent their respective metropolitan cities and provinces in this youth esports showdown.

The Championship is the official stage for middle and high schoolers across the country to represent their schools. The tournament is split into middle and high school divisions, unfolding in three distinct phases: the Elite Point Stage, the Regional Representative Qualifiers, and the National Finals. The selected titles for competition are League of Legends and FC Online.

The Elite Point Stage consolidates existing local and school-level tournaments into a unified division. Teams earn points based on their performance, with top-ranked squads advancing to the National Finals. Regional qualifiers also offer elite points, providing an alternative path for those who missed the earlier stages.

The first round of the Regional Representative Qualifiers kicks off online on November 15 (Sat), followed by the second round on November 22 (Sat). Applications for the first round are open until November 9 (Sun) for students in ▲Seoul ▲Incheon ▲Sejong ▲Daejeon ▲Daegu ▲Busan ▲Gyeonggi ▲Jeonnam ▲Gyeongbuk. The second round deadline is November 16 (Sun) for participants from ▲Ulsan ▲Gwangju ▲Gangwon ▲Chungnam ▲Chungbuk ▲Gyeongnam ▲Jeonbuk ▲Jeju. The Middle School National Finals run from November 29 (Sat) to 30 (Sun), while the High School National Finals follow from December 6 (Sat) to 7 (Sun). The grand finale takes place over three days from December 19 (Fri) to 21 (Sun) at the Daejeon Esports Arena (Yuseong, Daejeon). Winners will be crowned champions and awarded the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award, with a total prize pool of 40,000,000 KRW.

The 2025 National Middle & High School Championship is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by KeSPA, with sponsorship from Korea Creative Content Agency, Riot Games, Nexon Korea, Samsung Electronics, Sidiz, Logitech, Goal Studio, MSI, and SK Telecom.
