SOOP will host the global Valorant tournament 'SVL (SOOP VALORANT LEAGUE) 2025' for six days from December 2nd to 7th. 'SVL 2025' is an esports league featuring Riot Games' FPS 'Valorant' and will be held with a live audience at the 'Sangam SOOP Colosseum' in Seoul.

The SVL, hosted by SOOP, has served as a stage for international teams to test their strength ahead of the regular season. The 2023 winning team, Sentinels, went on to win Masters Madrid in 2024, and EDG, who participated in that tournament, won Champions Seoul later that same year. NRG, the winner of SVL 2024, also achieved victory at Valorant Champions Paris this year, proving that the SVL tournament serves as a strong indicator for the upcoming VCT season.

Various teams are expected to participate in this year's 'SVL 2025'. The regional qualifiers for one Southeast Asian (SEA) team will be held from November 10th to 17th, and the lineup of the remaining seven teams will be announced on November 12th.

Participating teams will be divided into two groups, A and B, and will compete in a double-elimination format where two losses result in elimination, to determine the top two teams from each group that will advance to the semifinals. From the semifinals onwards, the tournament will follow a single-elimination format. All matches except for the grand final will be best-of-three, while the grand final will be a best-of-five. The total prize pool for the tournament is $80,000 (approximately 114 million KRW), with $25,000 awarded to the winning team.

Meanwhile, SOOP will broadcast the tournament across multiple platforms and languages. The domestic and global live streaming platform 'SOOP' will provide broadcasts in Korean, English, and Thai, while the Vietnamese broadcast will be aired on the 'ONLive' channel. Ticket sales for in-person attendance will begin on November 20th at 5:00 PM, and can be purchased via Ticketlink.
