Perhaps it’s thanks to these nifty traits that the previously overlooked Erosion synergy is finally seeing a bit of a pick-rate climb. Top 100 Ranker Composition Statistics

Kula didn't waste time, landing in 10th place in overall pick rates with 12.3% in her debut count. It seems plenty of top-tier players were quick to recognise the potency of her skills and slotted her into their lineups immediately.

Kula’s passive applies an 'Ice Shards' debuff that deals damage over time. When she lands an attack, it applies the debuff for one turn; if an ally hits an enemy afflicted by Ice Shards, they deal an extra 20% of their skill damage. It’s a mechanic that screams synergy with heavy-hitting allies.

Unsurprisingly, we’re seeing her paired with the recently released Spooky Iori in various setups. Spooky Iori is also an Erosion synergy fighter, known for his burn-based bonus damage. Previously, he struggled to find a fitting partner since his bonus damage only triggered on his own burns, but Kula’s Ice Shards provide a new playground for him to flex his offensive capabilities.

Spooky Iori’s numbers back this up; he sat at a 4.3% pick rate last week (joint 12th), but has now climbed to 11th with 8.6%. As players continue to experiment with the Kula pairing, we might see him climbing even higher if the performance holds up.

Despite the rise of these new Erosion fighters, the top spots remain largely unchanged. However, the pick rates tell a more interesting story. Kyo has dipped by about 10 percentage points, settling at 79.7%. While 'Rage' synergy remains a massive part of the meta, it seems players are hunting for alternatives. Other Rage fighters like Mai and Chizuru have also seen their pick rates slip. We’ll break down the synergy shifts in detail in the next section.

Ranker Synergy Preferences

Players are jumping on the Erosion synergy train at a rapid pace. Only 2% of the tracked rankers were using it last week, but that has climbed to 9% this week. It’s still a modest figure in the grand scheme, but as rankers continue their theory-crafting, expect that number to grow. It will be interesting to see where it lands once Kula and Spooky Iori are fully invested.

The 'Execution' synergy also saw a slight bump, rising 1.7 percentage points to 58%. More players are opting for Spooky Mature and Terry as their primary damage dealers. Meanwhile, 'Rage'—the most popular choice—is quietly trending downwards at 80.7%, an 8.6 percentage point drop from last week. The power dynamic is clearly shifting away from Rage toward Erosion and Execution.

Let’s take a look at 'Bloodline', who was sitting at rank 1 on the KR-3 server during our tally. Their lineup consists of Kula, Spooky Iori, Spooky Mature, Orochi Leona, and Terry, activating 3 Erosion, 2 Execution, and 1 Special synergy. They’re running Kula, Spooky Iori, and the legend-grade pet Demonion for Erosion, while Spooky Mature and Terry handle the Execution duties, with Orochi Leona filling the Special slot.

It’s striking to see them utilising all three recently released fighters, likely maxed out to 10 stars for immediate impact. Kula’s Ice Shards debuff pairs beautifully with the heavy skills of the Execution fighters, and her defence-down debuff only makes those hits land harder. It’s a high-investment, aggressive build that rightfully earned them the top server spot.
