Netmarble has added its first siege battle, 'Albern Fortress', to its PC and mobile MMORPG, 'RF ONLINE NEXT'.

The Albern Fortress siege involves a total of 10 guilds and 500 players. This includes the six victors from each server's mine wars, three guilds that secured spots via bidding, and the incumbent defensive guild.

The inaugural siege kicks off on the 29th at 9 PM for approximately one hour. For this first run, an NPC will take on the role of the defensive guild, leaving the remaining nine guilds to compete.

Victory goes to the guild that manages to hold the 'Control Bridge' for 20 minutes. Rewards include exclusive access to the siege shop, a guild emblem, a special 'Victor of the Siege' costume, and a share of the accumulated world trade tax.

A new region, 'Albern Crater Zone 2', has also been opened. It is divided into four sectors based on difficulty and is accessible to players level 80 and above. A new boss, 'Genocyker', has been added; defeating it yields level 7 rare gear, hero-grade materials and equipment (levels 3-5), and new drives.

The newly introduced 'Rover Workshop' system allows players to customize their Rover's appearance. Rover costumes consist of eight parts, and the costume is activated once all parts are collected. Successfully enhancing parts with additional duplicates increases the grade of that part.

Additionally, a character gifting feature and two new costumes ('Victor of the Siege' and 'Dark Tailcoat') have been added. Netmarble is hosting various events, including collections, missions, crafting, and attendance rewards, offering items such as hero-grade Talic level 3 selection boxes and high-quality expansion upgrade kits.
