World of Warcraft: Midnight, the second installment in the Worldsoul Saga and the upcoming expansion scheduled for release next year, will begin its beta test on the 12th (Wednesday, Korea Standard Time).

The World of Warcraft development team plans to invite select players to the beta test, including all those who pre-purchased the Mythic Edition of Midnight and those who signed up via the official Midnight website. Players who purchase or upgrade to the Mythic Edition during the beta period will also be granted immediate access. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the new expansion ahead of its official launch and provide feedback to the developers.

This beta test will feature a variety of new content. Players can experience the catch-up campaign quests, the revamped Eversong Woods, the new player hub of Silvermoon, as well as new zones, the hunt system, and the new Allied Race, the Haranir. In the later stages of the beta, raid boss testing will be conducted to gather feedback on the development team's newly crafted combat and encounter tools.

Additionally, World of Warcraft will introduce a subscription service in Korea starting on the 21st. Players can choose from various subscription plans (1, 3, 6, and 12 months). Those who opt for a 3-month plan or longer will receive early access to the housing system arriving in patch 11.2.7. For those choosing 6-month or 12-month plans, additional in-game rewards such as mounts and pets will be provided.
