Welcome back to the [Meca Ranking] for 'Seven Knights Re:BIRTH' (SKRB). It’s been a week of tectonic shifts in the Arena following the arrival of the new hero, Elysia. Most adventurers are now feeling the drastic surge in Kyle-led offensive decks, a trend that is clearly reflected in our team composition statistics. Let’s dive into the post-Elysia pick rates.

A Blistering Debut: Elysia Clocks in at 69.7% Pick Rate

Elysia’s arrival has sent the entire Arena meta into a spin, and nobody is profiting more than the Kyle offensive deck. Kyle himself saw his pick rate jump by 40 percentage points compared to last week, while his core cohorts—Colt, Kagura, and Pii—all climbed by over 25%. As for Elysia, she debuted with an eye-watering 69.7% pick rate. Consequently, the top five spots in the hero rankings are now entirely dominated by the Kyle offensive squad. It’s quite the spectacle.

On the flip side, Platon has plummeted by 18.7 percentage points. Following him in the 7th to 14th rankings are the remnants of his former glory—the Platon magic and defensive decks. The defensive variant, anchoring around Rudy, Eris, Rina, and Karma, holds a bit more ground than the magic one, but across all server tiers, the Platon setups are currently being steamrolled by the Kyle meta.

Kyle's Indirect Boost: Rin and 'Protection Formation' Surge

Kyle’s dominance has sent shockwaves through the pet and formation meta. For pets, Rin—the go-to for buffing physical attack decks—has surged by 16.7 percentage points. As for formations, the 'Protection Formation,' which maximizes the damage ceiling of a single main dealer, has seized the lead, leaving its rival 'Attack Formation' in the dust with a dominant 61% pick rate.

The four new pets released alongside Elysia haven't quite cracked the top rankings yet. 'Yu' holds the most promise; with her ability to shred enemy defense and dampen healing, she was instrumental in pushing out Platon's magic and defensive decks early in the update cycle.

However, as those specific archetypes faded from the Arena matchmaking, Yu’s necessity vanished with them. Rin’s ascent coincided with this shift, pushing Yu just out of the top five into 6th place. She’s currently taking a backseat, but if the meta shifts back toward healing-heavy parties, don't be surprised to see her return.

Elysia: Plugging the Gaps in Kyle’s Utility

Elysia’s versatility has set the meta on a fast track. Rankers were already tearing down their Kyle offensive decks on day one of the update to make room for her. The casualty? Vanessa. Given the overlapping defense-reduction passives, she was the easiest piece to swap out.

Furthermore, a 6-transcendence Elysia offers an extra turn of buff reduction compared to Vanessa. This means more effective removal of pesky effects like Juri’s 3-turn immortality or Rudy’s 3-turn link. If you time your skills right in the 2nd or 3rd slots, the synergy is undeniable.

Beyond that, her utility—silence, evasion, and ally debuff cleansing—is being hailed as top-tier. Even as a 'Universal' type hero who might lose out in raw speed battles and misses the specific synergy of Kyle and Kagura, her raw power is winning everyone over. Currently, she feels virtually flawless, so expect to see a surge in Kyle-mirror matches for the foreseeable future.

Total War Pick of the Week

11th Round Solo Leader: 'Seasoned Ribs'

Adventurer 'Seasoned Ribs' has climbed to the solo lead in the mid-rounds of the current Total War by aggressively adopting the new hero and pet. The roster includes Orly Magic, Platon Magic, Kyle Offensive, Instant Death Defensive, and Karma Defensive. Notably, the new pet 'Melpero' has been slotted into the Instant Death Defensive team.

Seasoned Ribs has doubled down on the latest mechanics to bolster the Instant Death strategy. By hiding the remade Kris in the back and fielding Akila, Rosie, and Knox in the front, the team is set. While previous iterations relied on the effect-accuracy of Kri, Melpero is now the main choice. It offers the same accuracy stat but adds a 10% bonus to effect application probability—making it an essential asset for any Instant Death deck reliant on status ailments.

Seven Knights Re:BIRTH User Poll

Are you enjoying the 0.5-year anniversary Seven Knights Festival? To mark the occasion, SKRB released lovely themed illustrations featuring the original three Seven Knights enjoying a banquet with their successors. The poll asked adventurers to pick their favourite hero from the bunch.

The results were a tight race between Pii, Rachel, and Juri. Pii ultimately clinched the top spot with 35.8% of the vote, followed by Rachel at 25.2% and Juri at 23.9%. Even if you include Rosie, the rankings were dominated by the game's most photogenic heroes.
