On the 19th, 'Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions' (hereinafter referred to as Arthdal Chronicles) rolled out a massive update featuring regional integration, global region experience boosts, revamped ranking rewards, the opening of the global server Frostfall Cliff, and a suite of bug fixes.

Let's dive into the regional integration first. Previously siloed regions—South Korea, Taiwan/Hong Kong/Macau, and the Global region—are finally merging. Post-update, everything from Total War matchmaking and Alliance Raids to Tower of Challenge rankings and the integrated exchange will operate under a unified regional banner. Note that all content schedules will now be standardised to UTC+9.

However, to keep things fair, integrated field content like the Black Night Archipelago and Frostfall Cliff will exclude the Global region for at least two weeks while players catch up. During this period, a dedicated XP boost will be active for the Global region, with the developers planning to roll them into the integrated matchmaking once the growth gap narrows.

The shift in ranking rewards is also turning heads. Rewards for the Tower of Challenge and Alliance Raids are now far more granular. Where 4th to 10th and 11th to 50th places once shared the same loot, you'll now find specific tiers for 4-5, 6-7, 8-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31-40, and 41-50. Expect the top brass to fight tooth and nail for those higher-bracket rewards.

It isn't just about content tweaks; there's a heap of events to help you grow. From 'Muta's Growth Support' for gathering growth tokens to the 14-day 'Legendary Challenge' attendance check for special summon boxes and the 4th iteration of 'Freedom's Challenge' for crafting event items, there’s plenty to keep you busy. Beyond the big changes, a few quality-of-life fixes have landed: the AFK kick timer in Alliance Raids has been bumped from 3 to 10 minutes, and various bugs—such as issues with gear presets and incorrect server labels in the Tower of Challenge—have been squashed.
