Raven 2 has just rolled out its new Gunslinger class, and with it, the class change season has officially kicked off. Since you can snag your class change tokens for gold, it’s a prime opportunity to switch classes without breaking the bank. Naturally, this has created the perfect storm for a major shake-up in our Meca Ranking. The Gunslinger has, quite frankly, turned the popularity rankings on their head across both Korean and global regions.

The Gunslinger’s debut landed them 163 spots out of 2,100 total rankers, capturing a 7.8% share. That puts them in a tie for third place in the all-server rankings—a flashy start that even the Assassin and Deathbringer failed to pull off. Consequently, those former top-tier staples, the Assassin (melee) and Deathbringer (magic), have been nudged into the mid-tier. It seems the Raven 2 elite have a serious soft spot for ranged combatants.

However, the Gunslinger’s presence is surprisingly muted in the specific server-by-server popularity charts. The Berserker has been the primary beneficiary of this shift in the meta. While they also hold a 7.8% share, they edge out the newcomer by exactly one player (164). They are also appearing in more 'Top 3' server lists. As a launch class with a loyal core following, their resilience is undeniable. In fact, the Berserker has just hit its highest popularity peak since the game went live.

Overall Class Analysis

Let’s look at the overall class distribution in Raven 2. Aside from the Berserker, Gunslinger, and Elementalist, every other class has seen a dip in popularity. It’s the usual growing pain whenever a shiny new class enters the fray. Expect the numbers to keep wobbling until things settle down.

The real story here is where the Gunslinger is poaching their players from. The biggest losses are hitting the Night Ranger, Destroyer, and Assassin—down by 4%, 2.2%, and 1.1% points respectively. That’s a significant hit, especially since the Gunslinger seems to be cannibalizing the shares of their fellow ranged classes, the Night Ranger and Destroyer.

The Night Ranger is suffering on another front, too. Their share has slumped to 31.5%, narrowing the gap with the second-place Divine Caster to a mere 3.3% points. If this keeps up, we might see a throne-room coup similar to what happened in the global region. The shockwaves from the Gunslinger are proving far more potent than anyone anticipated.

Global Class Analysis

How is the Gunslinger faring in the global region? They’ve secured a solo third place with an 11.9% share. Naturally, they’ve sucked up even more market share here, pulling in players from the Night Ranger, Destroyer, and even the top-ranked Divine Caster and Assassin. It’s quite the 'spirit bomb' of meta-shifting. On a sadder note, the lead held by the Divine Caster is still too vast for the Night Ranger to mount a comeback. The king remains firmly on the throne for now.

Guild Dungeon Ranking Records

While the class charts are in disarray, the guild dungeon rankings remain eerily quiet. The top-tier guilds have slowed their pace in breaking records. Still, the competition persists; the number of tracked guilds grew from 293 to 322. Notable climbers include MythRed from Sola-Honor and Valentine from Kerum-Mors, who each climbed a spot. Additionally, Sola-Fides' 'Bond' broke into the Top 20 with a time of 11 minutes and 2 seconds on stage 4.
