Webzen announced on the 9th that it has released an update for MU Monarch 2, expanding the maximum growth level. The previous character growth cap was 15th Rebirth level 400, but this update extends it to 18th Rebirth level 400.

Following the adjustment of the level cap, 14 related content pieces have been revamped. First, as the growth range expands, 'Hurricane', 'Soul', and 'Loneliness' gear sets have been added. Higher-tier bosses and field monsters have also been introduced, offering a new combat environment. Key progression systems such as Soul, Artifacts, and Master Traits have also undergone structural adjustments.

The membership system has also been revamped with the addition of two new tiers. Consequently, the scope of exclusive content usage, including membership territories, has been expanded. Along with the update, the 'Pandora's Pickaxe' event has been introduced. Players can obtain items such as Jewels of Blessing and rare costume fragments through stage-based mining.
