Users are advised to exercise caution as reports of frame drops and graphical glitches are emerging following the latest Nvidia graphics driver update.

Nvidia released the Game Ready Driver version 591.44 on the 5th (KST). This update restores PhysX GPU acceleration for certain classic titles, a feature previously removed from RTX 50 series graphics cards, and includes optimization patches for nine games: Counter-Strike 2, Battlefield 6, Black Myth: Wukong, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Madden 26, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

However, many users who applied the update have reported performance degradation. On Reddit and various IT forums, users are sharing posts about experiencing frame drops of 10 to 30 FPS after updating the driver. This issue is reportedly affecting the entire RTX series, rather than being limited to a specific graphics card.

Reports of graphical errors have also surfaced. Users playing Counter-Strike 2 have noted a yellow tint washing out the screen, while Battlefield 6 is reportedly failing to initialize DLSS, resulting in a black screen. Additionally, crashes have been reported with the streaming software 'Parsec' and the VR application 'Virtual Desktop'.

There has been no official announcement or hotfix released regarding these issues yet. Users are advised to roll back to the previous driver version if they are experiencing problems after the latest update.
