Exodus, the sci-fi action-adventure title currently in development by Wizards of the Coast and Archetype Entertainment, has announced a release window for early 2027.

Exodus was first unveiled at The Game Awards in 2023, drawing significant attention as the debut project from Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by former BioWare developers. It garnered particular interest due to its atmosphere, which bears a striking resemblance to the Mass Effect series.

After releasing its first gameplay footage in 2024, the developers remained silent for about a year before narrowing down the release window and confirming platforms at The Game Awards 2025 on the 12th. The game is set to launch in early 2027 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, with Korean language support confirmed.

Exodus is a sci-fi action-adventure game based on the TRPG universe of the same name from Wizards of the Coast. The protagonist is Jun Aslan, who evolves from a scavenger into a 'Traveler'—an adventurer traversing the stars and a hunter tracking down ancient secrets. Players must stand against the Celestials who threaten humanity, scavenge their remains, and explore alien worlds to gather information for survival.
