The 'serial discounter' Steam is once again coming for your wallet with its flagship Winter Sale just around the corner.

Steam has announced that the festivities will run from December 19 at 3:00 AM until January 6 at 3:00 AM, local time. Much like the Summer Sale, this annual blowout promises to slash prices on a staggering library of titles.

As with last year, we are looking at a heavy hitter list of games on offer. The roster includes Tainted Grail, Borderlands 4, Dune: Awakening, Dying Light: The Beast, The Last of Us Part 2, Rematch, Slime Rancher 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, MegaBonk, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, LPO, Assassin's Creed Shadows, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Escape from Duckov, Dispatch, Deltarune, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, Hades 2, and Drive Beyond Horizons. We’re still waiting on the specific discount percentages, but keep your eyes peeled.

Meanwhile, Valve has confirmed a packed calendar for the first half of next year with 13 distinct festivals. We kick things off in January with the Mystery Fest (Jan 12–19) and the Board Game Fest (Jan 26–Feb 2), followed by a February sprint featuring the Typing Fest (Feb 5–9), PvP Fest (Feb 9–16), Horse Fest (Feb 19–23), and the Steam Next Fest (Feb 23–Mar 2).

March brings the Tower Defense Fest (Mar 9–16), the main seasonal Spring Sale (Mar 19–26), and the SimFest (Mar 30–Apr 6). The party continues into April with the Hidden Objects Fest (Apr 9–13) and Medieval Fest (Apr 20–27), before wrapping up the season with the Deckbuilders Fest (May 4–11) and the Sailing Fest (May 18–25).
