Nexon announced on the 18th that they have updated 'MapleStory : Idle RPG', an idle mobile title co-developed with Able Games, to include a new Boss Raid feature.

The Boss Raid is a new mode where you can assemble a party of up to four players to take down Zakum. You'll spend three weekly tickets to hunt for loot like the Zakum Helmet or the Aquatic Letter Eye Accessory. You can also enter the challenge mode without tickets and choose between Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties.

Starting December 26 at 8 PM, those who have successfully cleared the Normal difficulty can participate in the Guild Raid. Up to eight guild members can form a party to confront Zakum, with rewards distributed based on the boss's remaining health once the battle ends. The members of the top 10 guilds to successfully clear the Guild Raid 'Zakum' on their respective servers will have their names recorded on the 'Honorable Rock'.

Along with the raids, a new 'Medal' system has been introduced. Once you hit specific milestones, you can earn and equip these medals, which will be displayed beneath your nickname. Some medals also provide passive stat boosts.

A 'Dungeon Preset' feature has also been added, allowing you to save specific setups for skills, companions, abilities, and relics tailored to each dungeon. Plus, a Christmas-themed event is now available.
