Vampir implements new rules for skirmish battles and server shuffling

On the evening of December 19, Vampir hosted its third developer livestream via its official YouTube channel. The broadcast kicked off with festive wishes for Christmas and the New Year, followed by a nod to the player base. They dropped hints regarding a new class and outlined changes to the server shuffling rules. They also tossed in a special coupon code, so do check the official channels for the latest scoop. You can find the coupon details on the official YouTube channel or the community notice board.
2026 First Half Update Roadmap

The stream opened with the 2026 update roadmap. First up, January brings a new inter-server elite dungeon. It’s designed to tackle that familiar plateau where character progression starts to feel a bit sluggish, with the added perk of more loot. They also mentioned it’s geared towards small parties who might have been pushed out of the Gehenna competition. Features like character (account) gifting and improved skirmish shuffling are also on the horizon, slated for January 21.
In the first half of the year, we'll see the arrival of the new class 'Akasha'. This melee fighter packs a punch with a 'berserk' mode that temporarily boosts stats. They’re being designed with unique mechanics, such as pulling enemies in or closing gaps, distinguishing them from the existing roster. They are aiming for a Q1 debut.
Vampir also teased a PVE mode called 'Narichanye'—which means 'lamentation' in Serbian—a classic endless tower-style affair. You climb down floors, battering formidable foes for loot. They are also cooking up a progression system themed around the iconic 'coffin'. Furthermore, responding to feedback about a lack of clan-centric activities, they announced that group PVE for clans is currently in development.
Moreover, they confirmed a formal launch for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. To celebrate, they’re setting up a global server where Korean players can rub shoulders—or blades—with international ones. It should make for some cracking inter-regional competition.
January Improvements Announced

January 2026 marks a series of quality-of-life tweaks for Vampir. First, the clan system: members can now tackle cooperative missions to earn special badges. For the clan leadership, they're introducing more granular control over joining requirements, including a 'block' feature. Vault management is also getting an overhaul, with scroll-locking and better transparency in distribution—a direct response to player behavioral data.
Secondly, the market is getting a usability boost. The bulk-buy function is moving away from just 'buying the 10 cheapest' to allowing players to set a target price per unit and specify the exact quantity. They’re also tidying up the materials tab with sub-categories: 'Crafting Materials - Growth Materials - Loot - Sundries'.
Inventory and dismantling are also being refined. The collection button for gear that has already been registered won't disappear, and the bulk-dismantle filter is getting an upgrade. You’ll be able to toggle whether you want to include or exclude upgraded items from the process.
Finally, combat and hunting: the auto-hunt range, previously limited to four settings, is being made much more flexible. Players can now adjust the radius anywhere from 5 to 40 meters. They’re also adding hotkeys to combat presets, allowing for swift swaps during the heat of battle. It’s a solid list of changes that feels like they’ve actually been listening to the player base.
Server Shuffling Commences with Rule Changes

The core of the Vampir experience, the server group shuffle, is underway with new rules. Normal servers remain completely randomized, and previous server groups won’t see a re-match. The big news is that the Duncan group is now part of the shuffle pool. Duncan will now compete with existing server clans, leaving only the Blood Race server in its own lane. For streamer servers, they’re trialing a tier-based draw, splitting them into 'Diamond', 'Gold', and 'Platinum' based on the results of the last two skirmishes.
Additionally, starting January 21, the competition structure for Skirmish and Gehenna shifts from a 3-server '1 vs 1 vs 1' to a 2-server '1 vs 1' format. They are also decoupling the market from server group matching to better account for supply and demand, with more details to follow. I’d recommend keeping a close eye on the official broadcast for those updates. For the full results of the shuffle, check the image below.
