Netmarble has released a new update for 'Arthdal Chronicles: Three Factions', the MMORPG developed by Netmarble F&C, introducing the 'Rift Dungeon' and the integrated field 'Black Night 5 Archipelago'.

The Rift Dungeon is a solo-play content where players are guaranteed to obtain new equipment parts upon participation. It is available in Normal and Heroic difficulties, with the latter offering a higher chance to obtain high-grade items.

In addition to existing gear, players can obtain new auxiliary equipment: 'Ceremonial Sword' and 'Protective Armour'. These items do not break upon enhancement, and instead of re-forging, they feature a 'Potential' stat. This potential is randomly determined when the gear is obtained and cannot be changed.

Enhancement stones required for upgrading auxiliary equipment can be obtained by dismantling auxiliary gear found in the Rift Dungeon. These items also feature a new 'Tuning' stat, which helps mitigate damage fluctuations during combat.

The new integrated field, 'Black Night 5 Archipelago', is a challenge content designed for top-tier players. It consists of three islands themed around dark, damp swamps and is populated by aggressive monsters. Players can obtain legendary-grade helmets and rings from the final boss of this area.

The Christmas seasonal event will run until January 28 of next year. Players must defeat the monster 'Gwerardo', who has stolen Christmas tree decorations. Gwerardo appears only at specific times, and defeating it provides rewards such as Liberation Stones and Christmas tree decorations.

Collected decorations can be used on Christmas trees located in the Arthdal, Ago, and Lawless villages. Completing the trees applies an event buff, and additional rewards are provided based on the number of 'Gwerardo Gift Boxes' opened.
