Christmas has packed its bags, and the New Year is looming large on the horizon. For those still grinding in Raven 2, the festive season has roughly a week left on the clock. While there is a bit of breathing room, it’s high time to start wrapping things up. The developers recently dropped a note detailing the end of the season and the roadmap for 2026. To help you tidy up your affairs, we’ve put together some tips to ensure you squeeze every bit of value out of the holiday rewards.

Q. I have some Gingerbread Man Shards left over. What should I do with them?
A. Prioritize exchanging for 900 Vouchers first; after that, it’s a toss-up between crafting materials and MP recovery.

The heart of the Christmas season has been farming in the event dungeon, 'Snowy Hill'. The deadline for the dungeon, its associated shop, items, and crafting recipes is January 8, 2026, at 4:59 AM. The real tactical question is how to spend the 'Gingerbread Man Shards' you’ve farmed. You have three main routes: convert them into 'Snowy Hill Vouchers' via the in-game shop, buy items directly, or craft Talismans.

Your absolute priority should be the Snowy Hill Vouchers. As we covered in our previous Tips, these are your stepping stones to Hero and Legendary grade Vanguards and Familiars. There is a cap of 1,000 vouchers per server, but realistically, aiming for 900 is the sweet spot. 1,000 isn't quite enough to clean out every item, and depending on your choices, you might be left with spare change. For instance, I personally traded for summon scrolls and Hell’s Rare Heavenstone Selection Chests, which set me back 900 vouchers. Since the remaining 100 couldn't buy anything meaningful, I diverted my remaining Gingerbread Man Shards elsewhere.

When choosing between direct item purchases and Talisman crafting, I recommend the former. Talismans offer base HP and MP recovery, with Accuracy unlocked at Hero grade and Attack Power at Legendary. Unless you are desperate for that specific boost and have the budget to burn, they aren't very efficient. Plus, they are time-limited items that vanish on January 21 at 4:59 AM. You're better off hoarding Teramonds and Enhancement Stones for your collection and gear crafting.

However, if you're struggling with MP recovery, it might be worth a look. Since MP is the lifeblood of your skill rotations and hunting efficiency, even a Rare grade Talisman can bump your recovery by 1 to 5 points.

Q. Is there anything else to do during the Christmas season?
A. The Material Merchant's inventory is getting a shake-up, so it’s the perfect time to start your monster codex grind.

The Christmas festivities in Raven 2 bleed slightly into 2026. Aside from the dungeon grind, you might find yourself asking, 'What else is there to do?' Well, the developers have announced an overhaul of the Codex Material Merchant’s inventory on December 31, and that’s where your focus should be.

The change is simple: the 'Regional Boss Codex Chests' sold by the merchant will switch from random drops to a selection-based system. These materials, usually only obtainable by taking down field bosses, are notoriously difficult to find and are the biggest bottleneck for finishing your monster codex. This update effectively lowers the hurdle. Just keep in mind that hoarding old chests won't help; the new rules only apply to chests acquired after the update.

To make progress, you'll need Monster Codex Coins and to build affinity with the merchant. The former comes from dismantling analysis materials, while the latter unlocks more items for sale.

The big payoff for completing the monster codex is the Item Collection bonus. Completing a regional page 100% grants a special chest containing, most notably, Medals. These are crucial for your stat-boosting collections. If you’re unsure where to start, just type 'Medal' into the collection search bar to see which stats you’re missing.

Don't miss the final festive surprise. In Developer Commentary #63, the team announced the 'Adieu 2025 Special Login Event' and the '2026 New Year's Appreciation Gift'. The former is nearing its end, but the latter runs from January 1 to January 11. Simply logging in during this period will net you rewards via mail. The highlight is the Blessing Summon Scroll, which guarantees a Rare or Hero-grade item from a specific theme—a massive boost for your progression.

I highly recommend keeping 600 Crystals in reserve just in case you pull a Hero-grade Vanguard or Familiar, as you’ll need them to 're-summon' if you want to lock in your choice. Of course, you can always just take the duplicate if you’re aiming for contract summons instead. Incidentally, you can craft one 'Hero Transcendent Shard' using vouchers from the Christmas event shop, so choose wisely.
