The new title 'Parasite Mutant', which has drawn attention for its resemblance to the classic game Parasite Eve, has released a demo on Steam.

IceSitruuna released the 'Parasite Mutant' demo on Steam on the 7th. Parasite Mutant is a sci-fi horror RPG set in the distant future, where players take on the role of psionic agent 'Nova' and are dispatched to a desolate, isolated island city teeming with horrific creatures.

Combat features a unique system called 'Active Time Chains'. It is a structure that combines the Active Time Battle system, commonly used in popular RPGs of the late 1990s, with a 3-stage chain system. Players must choose actions according to the timing at each stage and decide how to continue combo attacks by managing energy efficiently.

Various mutant creatures appear, and players must solve various puzzles in addition to combat. Through this process, players can encounter events and backgrounds hidden within the world and uncover the secrets of the island.

The released demo includes a tutorial to learn the basic gameplay and combat system. Additionally, players can explore 5% of the total map area. The estimated playtime is 45 minutes, and bugs discovered in the demo will be continuously addressed.

Meanwhile, Parasite Mutant officially supports Korean, and the release date will be announced at a later time.
