Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have officially released 'Woolhaven', the latest expansion for Cult of the Lamb, on the 23rd.

Set after the credits roll on the main campaign, this DLC drags you towards a mysterious mountain. Your mission: track a strange signal, navigate a frozen wasteland, and rebuild a shattered village. You'll need to guide lost souls back to your sanctuary to restore a fallen deity's power. Yet, there is a catch: every act of 'salvation' stains the mountain with corruption, threatening to consume the lands of the Old Faith. Prepare to confront the heavy price of your past sins.

If you're eager to jump in, you'll first need to put down the four main bishops: Leshy, Heket, Kallamar, and Shamura. Once that's settled, a statue of 'Yngya' will manifest near the teleporter north of your base. Offer 5 Mushrooms, 5 Crystals, 5 Silk, and 1 Sin—garnered from your cultists—to unlock the frozen path ahead.

The biting cold of the winter environment is your new primary antagonist. Blizzard conditions and freezing temperatures will wreak havoc on your followers, so you'd better build proper heating and new structures to keep the frostbite and famine at bay. On a brighter note, a new ranching system lets you tame rare animals for resources like wool or even use them as mounts, adding a layer of depth to your management strategy.

For those seeking combat, 'Ewefall' and 'The Rot' offer two massive new dungeons. In Ewefall, you'll face Marchosias, a deity-hating menace, while The Rot pits you against grotesque, mutating horrors. It is the perfect place to forge legendary weapons and push through the dangerous remnants of the past.

Management is less of a headache now, thankfully. You’ve got more room to expand, and the new Work Tents allow for batch task assignments, sparing you from micromanaging every single cultist. With new roles like medics and carpenters, healing and repairs are finally automated, letting you focus on the bigger picture.

Social dynamics have seen a boost, too. You can now engage in winter-themed activities like snowball fights or building snowmen. Interestingly, there's now an option to divorce your followers—because even cults need a clean break sometimes. With 52 new follower forms, 68 decorations, and an Exorcism Altar to swap out follower traits, there is plenty to keep you busy.

The Woolhaven expansion is priced at 18,500 won. To celebrate, the base game is currently available at a 60% discount for 10,000 won until February 6th.
