The fan-favorite character from the original, The Defect, also returns as a playable character. With new enemies, bosses, and cards, the scale of content is set to be significantly larger than its predecessor.

A particularly notable feature is the cooperative multiplayer, which was absent in the previous game. Up to four players can choose their preferred characters to scale the spire together. Players can face enemies as a team, toss potions to buff allies, and decide on relics and paths through a voting system.

이 소식은 20일, 슬더스 2 스팀 공식 페이지를 통해 공개됐다. 슬더스 2는 2024년 4월 첫 공개된 시리즈 후속작이다. 본래 2025년 하반기 출시 예정이었으나 콘텐츠 보강을 위해 2026년으로 한 차례 연기된 바 있다.

3월 6일 출시 발표와 함께 공개된 트레일러를 통해 게임에 추가될 신규 콘텐츠를 살펴볼 수 있다. 먼저 개발자 편지로 선보였던 신규 캐릭터 2종(네크로바인더, 리젠트)이 있다. 네크로바인더는 소환수 ‘골골이’와 함께 싸우는 리치 네크로맨서이며, 리젠트는 다른 카드를 ‘하수인’으로 변화시키고 고유 무기 ‘군주의 칼날’을 활용하는 별의 계승자다. 전작 인기 캐릭터 디펙트도 플레이 캐릭터로 등장한다, 신규 적, 보스, 카드도 더해지며 전작보다 콘텐츠 규모가 크게 증가할 예정이다.

특히 눈에 띄는 부분은 전작에 없던 협력 멀티플레이다. 최대 4명이 원하는 캐릭터를 골라 첨탑을 오른다. 함께 적과 맞설 수 있고, 아군에게 포션을 던져 버프도 줄 수 있다. 획득할 유물이나 진행 경로는 투표를 통해 결정한다.

슬더스 2는 오는 3월 6일 PC(스팀)으로 출시되며, 한국어를 공식 지원한다.
